When it comes to Peaches vs. Nectarines, you can’t go wrong with either choice. Both are yummy on their own and chock full of nutrients. Both are also lovely options to bake. It is a SIMPLE, sweet tooth-satisfying treat to enjoy when in Season!
Fun Fruit Fact
Both Peaches and Nectarines have a similar nutritional profile.
While the Peach:
Both match when it comes to Vitamin E and Vitamin B6, and both contain similar amounts of Calcium and Iron as well.
The Nectarine and Peach contain significant amounts of beta-carotene and lutein + zeaxanthin.
As in Peaches vs. Apricots, you can’t go wrong with either!

Here is One of My Favorite Ways to Use Peaches and Nectarines
Either Peach or Nectarine creates this sultry sweet, mouth-watering, delicate & delicious dessert thatโll satisfy your hankering for something sweet.
2 Ingredients. Bake. Itโs that SIMPLE.
You can interchange peaches and nectarines in any recipe.

Treat yourself, your family, and your friends to this wonderful whole food, SIMPLE Self Care dessert of baked peach or nectarine.
What you need to bake your Peaches/Nectarines:
A baking container
Knife
1 Peach or Nectarine per person
Coconut Oil (or Ghee)
This large tablespoon is enough for my 4 peaches.
Instructions:
1 Wash, Cut in 1/2, and Remove the Pit.
2 Place fruit halves facing up in your Baking Dish.
3 Apply Coconut Oil (or Ghee) on the fleshy part fruit.
4 Bake 350F (177C) for 30 min
5 Redistribute Coconut oil back on top of the fleshy part of the fruit.
6 Place the Oven on Broil to brown for a few minutes.
7 Take out of the oven
8 Plate and serve.
In the mood to change up your baked peach or nectarine?

Maybe crushed nuts, honeyโฆ.
